About Melanie
A 30 year dance educator, Melanie Gibbs owns two successful South Florida dance studios. Melanie is a member of the Florida Dance Association, the National Dance Association and the National Dance Education Organization, as well as a founding member of the international dance studio affiliation More Than Just Great Dancing!®.
Melanie serves on the board of International Association of Child Development Programs and is a MTJGD® Certified Coach™, and enjoys sharing her industry knowledge with other small business owners through regular features in INSight™ Magazine and her Spotify podcast, 10 Minute Management. She is the chapter advisor and founder of her local chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, and is the chairman and founder of Leave A Legacy Foundation of South Florida, a non-profit with the mission of encouraging the next generation of philanthropists in young dancers.
Melanie’s studios are the only Youth Protection Associates in Dance® certified studios in their respective regions, but her proudest achievement is being a wife and special-needs mom!
